Where to buy Ruger Mini14 Preban mags?

I am looking for 30 round pre-ban Ruger Mini 14 mags in stainless (nickel). Online order is fine. Any suggestions?

Look for used Ruger and PMI, new Promag and Masen. I wouldn't buy any other brands, the difference in quality is huge.

NY lets in just about anything so long as it isn't NFA. We have a variation of the AWB, but it's mainly a joke.

Yeah... we can have 10+ mags in NY if they were made before 1994... pre-ban. This friend of mine is looking for 30 round FACTORY Ruger Mini 14 mags in stainless (nickel). I've found some sellers online, but none so far offer pre-ban mags and the companies that sell them won't ship to NY. This is the dilemma. Any futher help would be much appreciated.

Beware, as Bigfoot said watch what mags you buy, because the cheaper ones are just that cheap. I learned the hard way!!!

I noticed that J&G Sales has some factory Ruger 20 round mags for, hold on to your hat.............................. $99 each.

Factory Ruger 30s are extremely rare and EXTREMELY expensive. 20s are easier to find. If you can find pre-ban PMIs they should be as good as Ruger OEM mags and a heckuva lot cheaper.

I have a couple of Ruger factory magazines to sell

Hi there, I have 2 Original Ruger Factory Mini 14 magazines I'd like to sell. They were made around 1981. They are both 20 round. They still have the boxes with them although they have been used only a couple of times. They're like new. If you're interested, I can send pictures. I had one listed on Ebay, and it got up to $63. before somebody told Ebay it wasn't a ten round magazine. Because of California, Ebay won't allow anything over 10 rounds. There are a lot of magazines (over 10 rounds) on Ebay for sale, and some of them make it to the end of the auction and some of them don't. All it takes is one complaint to Ebay, and they cancel the auction. You can email me at [email protected]

"I never meant for simple civilians to have my 20 or 30 round magazines or my folding stock."

"I see nothing wrong with waiting periods."

And, sadly, that too must be part of the Ruger legacy.
