I ordered some AutiComp from 3rdGen before Christmas and Im starting to wonder if theyre going to ship it. Hadnt received tracking number yet.

It took me several months to get an eight-pound keg of IMR 4320, and a few months more before I was able to have a previous backorder filled for another keg... and '4320 isn't overly popular, either...

Yeah, I think this drought is going to take a while longer to subside- maybe a LONG while, unfortunately. Just my opinion.

I realize that Varget is almost as hard to come by as Reloder 15, but have have you guys tried IMR-4064? I realize Varget meters better in powder measures, but I have found multiple sources that have IMR-4064 in stock in both 1 pound and 8 lb kegs. I actually prefer IMR-4064 to Varget in my .243 and 6.5x55 since I weigh all my charges for those cartridges. Accurate 4064 is another good alternative for the Varget/Re15 crowd and is shorter cut than IMR-4064 and meters better. I have used it, too. I still have about 6 lbs of Varget left in my 8 lb keg that I picked up a couple of years ago, and use it mostly for 55 gr .223 loads for our AR-15's. But when it is gone, I will probably switch to IMR-8208XBR. If you haven't tried IMR-4064, you might consider it. At least you should be able to find some to try.

Owner of Powder Valley mentioned on Facebook that the problem with supply of Powder is there were two changes in the shipping regulations: 1) smokeless powder was reclassified as an explosive, 2) only one ship with explosives can be in port. That has choked supply.

That's interesting. I guess I could see that would choke supply if demand was high at the time.
