Where's the trash can?

The Mosin-Nagant killed more Germans than George Patton, the B-17, and bad sauerkraut combined. I'd say it was a fairly necessary design for its time.

This is where I admit my fondness for derringers.
I had a .22mag derringer (sold it to a bud) that was just plain fun to shoot. I also won twenty bucks once by putting both rounds on paper at 100 yards. I couldn't believe the first shot made it and had to pick my jaw up off the floor after the second. Once I had the elevation right it was not too hard. Thats on paper, not in the ten ring, mind you. ;)

Are they practical? No, not anymore they aren't. I wouldn't object to having that one back, though.

Nice troll, mcdonl. I like your style. :D

Walther PP, PPK and various clones. They had their day, but now it's too large to pocket carry and if you are going to carry one on your belt either IWB or OWB, you can carry something of similar size and weight in a larger caliber and higher capacity.

I own two Walther PPs (one in 32ACP and one in 22LR), as well as a CZ-70 and a beautiful East German Makarov. Fun range guns and nice shooters, all. However, they are very low on my CCW and SD list. I'd much rather carry my Colt CCO, Ruger SP101, S&W 642 or CZ40 before one of these.
