I received a humorous email from a pal saying everything in the USA (even toilet paper) is now made somewhere else. The gag line was that the only remaining place you could spend your stimulus money to revitalize the US economy (as is the intention) was your local prostitution service ! :)

That was good for a chuckle, but it got me thinking. We reloaders actually indulge in a hobby that is loaded with goods and services largely dominated by products Made in the USA. Just the other day someone asked me about Lee Precision. My response was that I had the deepest respect for them. This because of the way they offer huge value at entry level prices, and do it so well that they effectively slam the door on foreign competition in the die and press arena.

► So my question is, are you planning on spending some portion of your stimulus check on US-made products ? If so which ones ? Hopefully your suggestions will serve as helpful ideas for others.

As for me and my house, a great deal of it will end up at RMR and Alliant !!

I'm going to try real hard to keep it inside the US borders. I definitely will not be buying anything from China if at all possible.

I have not gotten my check yet, but have already ordered from RMR.

Midway is also one of my preferred sources.

Mine is all going to a US made product produced somewhere around October and being delivered sometime the end of June. We won’t discuss the production, but the delivered product will be named Hallie May. Her arrival drives more nails in the coffin for my hobbies, at least for the next couple years. I do plan to buy a couple thousand bullets though in 32 and 30 calibers. I’m pretty well supplied in other calibers for now.

I paid too much federal tax last year to get free money this year. (in other words my adjusted gross income was too high to meet the qualifications )

But, I am excited about paying even higher taxes this coming tax year to help out with the growing federal deficit. :D

IDK if it was stimulus money or just regular old birthday/second job money, but I ordered some body armor.

I feel kinda silly admitting it.

I am not 'that guy' (you know the guy). Honest.

Were you able to source body armor with that second trauma plate in the back like you wanted?
