Hello all,
I'm new to this site.
My father is looking for a revolver and I was hoping that someone here might have some recommendations. Here are the specifics and the intended use.
Caliber: .22 long rifle and .22 magnum (interchangeable cylinders?)
Finish: Blued
Action: Single Action
Manufacturer: None in particular
Barrel Length: 4" - 6" ?
(he doesn't want one that is too long - I have a 7.25" revolver and it can be rather unwieldy).
Sights: Solid front, Adjustable rear
(in my conversation with him it appears that he is talking about side to side adjustment (windage?) versus up and down (elevation?). He specifically said no scopes.
Full size frame/grip - a Bearcat frame/grip is too small.
He intends to carry this in a leather hip rig when he takes it out and about. He plans on using it for dispatching small, four legged pests at close range and for close range hunting of grouse (head & neck shots only).
Any ideas/links would be appreciated - Thank You.
