I've handled the Uberti in 22LR (Stallion?) in the store and it feels real nice in the hand to me. I was tempted.
The Ruger Single Six is head and shoulders above any other SA .22/.22M on the market. The Colt has not been made in years and they gave lots of trouble when new because Colt tried to beat Ruger on price without using Ruger's manufacturing methods. The hand and the bolt (cylinder stop) were special problem areas. The foreign SA .22s are, in my experience, almost universally bad. Some are full size guns with .22 holes in them, which adds up to one HEAVY gun, folks.
