I'm looking to pick up a little more .30-06 and 7.62x39mm, and wanted advice. For the .06, the place I plan on ordering from has greek M2 and lake city M2. The price difference is negligible between the two, so which is better? (BTW, I've put a box or so of greek M2 through my gun, and actually had a few duds). These are for a winchester 670.

The other gun I want more ammo for is an AK. I've always shot wolf with no malfunctions whatsoever. I've put one box of either remington or winchester through it before, and that's the only malfunction my gun's ever had. I'm not looking at buying American ammo for it anyway, as my AK is Romanian and a rabid anti-American. (Which is why the only time it ever failed was with U.S. ammo). Between wolf, and the various colors of bears (brown and silver), which is the best for hollow points? Price difference isn't enough between these brands to sway me one way or another either, and since I have no experience with the bear stuff, I figured I'd get advice before I spend my money.

Thanks.

I would recommend barnaul. It is marketed in the U.S. as Monarch and is being sold at academy sports stores. You just missed a big sell on 7.62x39. They were selling at $2.99/20. That comes to $74.75 + tax for a case of 500. The sell ended last Sunday and the prices are back up. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

You can't beat the prices on the CMP .30-06. I got a couple crates of the Lake City a while back, and the stuff is flawless. I hear the Greek stuff they're selling now is ever better, but I can't verify.
