Which AR should I buy?

To be fair, I suggest you read this thread.
http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=683781

It is an OPINION that they have a "screw you" return policy. Its quite clear in the therms and conditions exactly what their policy is. Someone failing to read those terms, or expecting to somehow be an exception to them may FEEL screwed, but only due to lack of due dilligence, IMO.

Nice little ad-hominem attack on my "intelligence".

For the record, I won that dispute. If you read the terms and conditions, as any intelligent person would, and you read my complaint, they did not even process my order, thus should be no re-stocking fee, and did not render any shipping services, and should be no shipping charge etc.

But that had nothing to do with an actual warranty or return policy, as I exercised neither.
They have no warranty, and accept no returns. That is a FACT. Maybe your superior intelligence overlooked that.

Have you been under a rock for the last few weeks?

Right now there are no parts to build much of anything

Your probably right, but under my rock are my local gun dealers that can get me the stuff.

Try harder.

edit: I just tried one of my sources and they have plenty of parts to build me an AR.....

For the record, I never attacked anyone's intelligence, only questioned their diligence in reading what was clearly posted as far as wait times, etc. Its not up to me to determine anyone's level of intelligence. I stand by my comments, regardless, and believe Palmetto to be a good company to deal with. Your experience obviously differed, but I thought poster should be able to read your history with the company and make his own decisions regarding your comments. I think providing both sides of a story is a high road thing to do, myself.

Palmetto State Armory has NO WARRANTY and NO RETURNS. That was my point, and those are FACTS, sir.

That is providing the OP with valuable unbiased information. I did not go into my personal experience with them. You brought that into the mix (thanks for speaking FOR me, and taking it into irrelevance btw)

I don't know why you felt the need to bring anything else into the mix, that has no relevance. You mention reading the print.. go read the terms and conditions on PSA's order page. NO RETURNS NO WARRANTY. I guess I question your diligence as well. Its all good.

To the OP..(with no interference this time hopefully)

I would go with the Smith and Wesson. They have a lifetime Warranty, and good Customer Service, and good price. Most reputable dealers have some kind of return policy on new guns. PSA has neither a warranty, and does not accept returns.

That PSA was like $714 shipped a few months back. When the craze is over, I doubt it will see much more value than it did a few months back, so if maintaining monetary value means anything to you, avoid the PSA.

The Smith & Wesson, its a name brand, that will always hold a little value over a house/out-sourced assembly of parts((even if they are good quality (which I have heard they were at one time amazing, and now still pretty good))

I just don't see you gaining anything from buying the Colt over the S&W. They are both pretty much all Mil-spec, and both have good barrels and features etc.

For whatever its worth, I was in the same "which AR" boat , and bought a Smith & Wesson M&P 15A (discontinued model)..love it..
