Which barrel for AR15 is better for me?

This is my target from today. I am not really happy with these results. I could not get better then a 1" group at 100yards

Should I try to return the barrel if I can?

Do you think you are shooting better than the rifle? How did you call those shots? Do you usually shoot sub-MOA with a rifle you know is capable of it?

I am not sure what you mean by how I called those shots. With my rem 700 I shoot <.5" all day at 100 yards.

If it were me, I'd keep working with it. I would at least take the flash suppressor off and do some groups with a bare muzzle, just to eliminate a variable.

Ok so after getting the caliper out and measuring, the 69gr factory match loads all grouped under 1moa. one 3-shot group at 100 yards was .968", one 4 shot group at 100yards was .896", and the last 3 shot group at 300 yards was 2.552"

So I will load up some 69gr with h335 and xbr 8208 and see how they do.

I guess I was just initially disappointed because I wanted the rifle to be doing cloverleafs at 100 yards right away. I realize those are .2-.3" groups and are unlikely, but a guy can dream.
