Which coach gun?

Thank you all for your opinions and input on my question regarding the use of a coach gun for home defense. I've decided to get one and would like to know what you think are the best ones out there. I have seen the Stoeger and was told that it is a quality piece. Are there others I should be looking at? Thank you, Mike

Check out the Baikal. It's a oretty solid piece of work.

I've been using a Stoeger for a couple of years now in Cowboy Action Shooting and haven't had any problems with mine. It hasn't been really deail cleaned either, just wiped down and lubed.

I bought a Stoeger Uplander for bird hunting based on the recommendation of several CAS shooters who have Stoeger Coach Guns and love them. After 2 years, I had the rib of my Uplander sprung loose and Stoeger (now Benelli) customer service could not have been better. They instructed me to ship the gun to them for a look-see (they even gave advice regarding how to ship from Massachusetts, relative to the state trigger lock law), and they even returned the gun sock I had shipped it in! Anyway, they replaced the gun with a brand, spankin, new one!
They stood by their product...

Stoegers are cool,they seem solid and you can get them in nickel.
