I'm waiting for the Kahr Arms P-380.
It comes out this summer.

Well Ive done some more research and Im actually going to save up a little more cash and go with the Rohrbaugh Stealth R9S. From all I looked at and researched its the most powerful in its class spendy but I think it will be worth it. I generally dont like to cut corners when it comes to my safety or those around me.

What does the slide lock on the Ruger matter? It's a pocket gun- not something one would be doing tactical reloads with... It's an "Oh $#!T" gun.

My vote would be for the Kel-Tec. I owned and carried a P-32 for quite a while, and the construction is very, VERY similar. It was thin and light enough to slip into my back pocket like a wallet, and never interfere with day to day life. The pocket clip works well for IWB carry, as well. And they're way, WAY thinner and lighter than a Beretta or NAA Guardian.

Yes, they feel cheap. That's because the grip is not the frame. The grip is completely interchangeable and the frame is a small aluminum block inside. The part just barely visible with the serial number on the back. Because of the aluminum frame, I wouldn't suggest putting a ton of rounds (10,000+) through it just for practice, and stay away from +P. Just get CorBon and you'll be fine.

There's also a ton of aftermarket support for them, like Crimson Trace or Armalaser sights, holsters, etc.

So, PROS: light, thin, affordable but not cheap, and lots of support that's easy to come by.

Will I admit to a CON? Yes. Two, in fact. If you carry like I did, sitting on it can release the magazine. The NAA Guardian, and Seecamp don't do that. The other MAJOR con, imho, is the "set double action". The slide has to cycle to set the hammer in place for the DA trigger pull. Meaning, if you get a light primer strike (which I had happen in my P32), you're done shooting. You have to manually cycle the slide to set the hammer and continue.

I got an LCP a few weeks ago, and it has functioned perfectly. Ruger has made a couple slight modifications as they go, and are getting all the bugs worked out quickly. My LCP has the latest changes, and I have no complaints.

Your best bet for finding spare LCP mags is to watch the Ruger website. They have trouble keeping them in stock since they're being made in Italy and shipped over, but I already have 3 extra mags that I ordered from their website.

I can't offer an objective opinion on whether the LCP is better than the P3AT, since I don't own a Kel-tec, but I will tell you that I trust my life to my LCP.

With a 9mm pistol that small, I don't understand why anybody would carry the significantly weaker .32 or .380.

If it's less than a 9mm, I won't carry it.

Frankly, my PF9 is on the fritz.
I don't have the extra bucks to ship it back to KT, so it sits until I have the time to mess with it!!
In the mean time, I've warmed up to this over the last month.

Yeah, it's old school, but as you can see, it works quite well. :neener:

It gets carried in the same DeSantis Nemisis that my PF9 did.

My P3AT continues it's role as "Gun?? Gun?? I ain't got no gun!!"

Recent surgery has left me unable, for the time being, to comfortably carry my Kahr K9 IWB as I have in the past. As a result I took a long look at both the Keltec and Ruger and decided on the Ruger for several reasons, namely it felt better in my hand and looked to be finished better. Also, the only KT I could lay hands on had the green frame and while it was acceptable it just didn't really appeal to me. As a result, I laid my $$$ down today on the Ruger. I've yet to fire it, that will likely have to wait until tomorrow or the next day but after reading many reviews, I expect this gun to satisfy it's role as a light little gun that I can discretely carry in just about any pocket. That said, I wish I could have waited for the Kahr 380 as I bought my K9 in 1996 and have been a big fan ever since.

Have A 32 Seacamp, and a PF-9, The pf-9 is ok with the 115 gr jhp's,or the 95's, if you go to the 147 gr, it actually gets too heavy, my titanium/scandium , taurus 38 is 12 oz's and shoots 5 +p's, is ported, and is more comfortable to carry and shoot. But I like to alternate according where I am going and what I am wearing. They don't make that Taurus anymore because of commoditiy prices.
