I have a 6" ported Storm Lake for my G20 and am very happy with it. A friend got a LW for his G20. The SL seems to have better support and is very accurate. After having shot both in a type of gun, I would suggest sticking with Storm Lake.
I went storm lake. Had to send it back to have the chamber opened up a bit. Still waiting to get it back but it wasn't chambering factory ammo.
Really? Below are Lone Wolf G23/G27 40S&W barrels compared to factory Gen3 Glock 23/27 barrels. Due to better support down the case base and chamber tightness, the Lone Wolf spent cases do not bulge like the cases in the picture below shot in Glock barrels. Depending on the generation of Glock 40S&W barrels, cases will bulge in varying amount (also dependent on ammunition/powder/charges).Hammerdown77 said:the chamber support was no better than my Gen 3 Glock factory barrel.
I have several Lone Wolf and KKM barrels for G22/G23/G27 in 40S&W and 9mm conversion and they shoot as accurate as factory barrels or more accurate with jacketed/plated/lead/Moly coated lead bullets. The G22 Lone Wolf 40-9 conversion barrel shoots on par with KKM conversion barrel.Hammerdown77 said:... Lone Wolf barrel, a .40 S&W, was a random pattern generator on target. Wouldn't shoot worth a damn with any ammo ... Then I got another one, this time a 40-9 conversion, and it seems to shoot ok for one magazine and then sprays bullets high and right.

Glock 22 with stock trigger and Lone Wolf 40-9 conversion barrel - Target squares are 1"x1" and shot at 15 yards off hand (all rounds loaded to 1.135" OAL) - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=7266869#post7266869
Well I got my barrel back this week. Have not had a chance to shoot it but I am definitely NOT happy with Storm Lake. They stamped the barrel G23 9MM....problem is my gun is a .40. Their response to me in short was "Sorry, it can be buffed off we use a buffing wheel but I am sure a local gunsmith could easily do it for me."I went storm lake. Not my idea of good customer service. For what it has already cost me to ship back to them once I could have bought a KKM.
I replied to April's message detailing what a poor experience I had and inquired about their return policy. I think I would rather spend my money with a different company.
Sorry for the rant.

Lone Wolf, hands down.
Well, the Glock slide surface is hardened with Tenifer process so it is harder than Lone Wolf barrel stainless steel. All it did was remove the paint finish that's applied over the Tenifer hardening treatment.C0untZer0 said:That Wolf cartoon scratches the hell out of the slide
I was shooting the stock Glock barrel in my 17L ... I purchased a 9" Lonewolf barrel and put 50-rounds through it and it took th finish of the inside top of the slide
