Which Gun to Choose

yeah its nuts. iI have a decent amount of fire arms right now, but would just like to have more. Maybe I'll go with a ar-10 in 308, or maybe a glock 20 and a wasr 10 63. only reason for the wasr is because it would be nice to have for a while for plinking then i can pass it down to my brother.

Just because you never used a particular firearm for self defense, or other weapon duty, does not render it a non-weapon.

i know right? i've never used a baseball bat, bowe & arrow, knife, fork, shoe, or tomato in self defense either but i don't call them a weapon. it's kinda like calling an AR an assault rifle.

i don't dissagree. a drill instructor has completely different motives regarding firearms than i (or most of us) do while chatting on THR.

seems that public enemy has very good and eclectic taste in firearms to me. the AR 30 sounds like a good choice.

Sappyg, i understand what you mean, but to me they are weapons and will be used as weapons. Although I am in college right now (getting a degree in criminal justice), i would like to eventually one day be on the state highway patrol swat team or a city swat team. I am training myself before the academy, for example not only in firearms but i also train in mixed martial arts, mhoi thai and brazilian jiu jitsu, and after that japanese swordsmanship.
