Which Hi Power Grips?

Walt: Are the Navridex as THIN as Spegels or VZ grips.

I HAVE the CDNN Heretts, and they actually make the grip thicker than a CZ with woods.

I honestly don't know, never having seen Heretts.

Comparing the thickness of mounted grips on both the BHP and CZ, the thickness of the CZ "handle" with hard or soft plastic (factory) grips mounted is noticeably greater than the BHP with the Navidrex mounted. I also have a 75B SA with custom wood grips mounted, and it's much thicker than the BHP with Navidrex.

(If it weren't so late in the evening -- I got up really early this morning and am dragging tonight -- I'd take photos and upload them to show you the differences. Maybe tomorrow.)

Not the best photo quality, for which I apologize...
As best I can tell, the standard CZ-75 grips, mounted, are about 1 1/2" wide at their widest point. The Navidrex grips mounted on the BHP grip frame, are about 1 3/8" wide and have no "palm swells." Not a big difference.

Here's a photo of my 75BSA with Haken Pek grips, next to the BHP with the Navidrex. (Before you ask, that is a form of stippling on the back strap.)

And my 85 Combat with the factory soft-rubberr grips. (which look identical to the hard plastic grips.)

See Message #8 above. There's a photo of my BHP with the grips installed.

I've misplaced my original wood BHP grips, or I'd show you before/after photos. I much prefer these grips. I think they're more attractive and much more practical -- seem to be almost indestructible.

The Herrets are VERY nice grips, but they are thick - they do make the Hi Power grip thicker than a cz - see here:

Left is a Transitional with CZ factory grips - nice and slim. Right is a PreB with some third party grips that I like. Middle is a MKIII with Herrets.
