Sweet. But you can't possibly tell me you saw that in the pic lolIts a 2nd Gen 469- the model number is right below the slide stop lever.
I had one, recognized it. You can also tell its only 3 digits to the model number, even if a bit too blurry to read them.Sweet. But you can't possibly tell me you saw that in the pic lol
It's got to be worth the trade anyway, but are 2nd gen Smiths worth anything in that kinda shape?
Congrats.Traded for it ... don't have much in it ... Which is great, because the finish has been removed entirely from the slide except for the area rearward of the slide serrations. It's a little on the rough side, but solid and the trigger isn't nearly as bad as I'd expected.
And perhaps better than OEM?Pretty sure that screw on the ambi decocker is NOT OEM....
If you only knew...Wish I had trades like yours coming my way
Some 2nd Gen Smith autos did indeed use Phillips head screws for the RH safety lever
Oh wow, thats a plus then...I wasn't too worried but I find it more acceptable now. It seemed pretty big and I would have expected something countersunk.side.
?My kid seems convinced this one's going to be his. He shot my DW Guardian and handled it fine, so he thinks that means he needs something bigger than .22 now. If I can get home before dark I may just let him see how he does shooting DA only.
Right, but I plan to make him decock after every shot so he only gets to use the DA pull. Yeah, they're only 9mm but no way I'm letting him blast away full throttle like he does his MKIV and TX22. Not while I'm the one buying anyway...?
Its a DA/SA gun....
