I would say that most PD carry a Glock of some sort. Utterly reliable. However many departments were (or have been) issued the Sig Pro Series. For that matter the "Blue Line" was specifically made for police carry.
Love it or hate it...There is a reason that it is carried. In whatever model made, I have never known of any Sig Sauer to be considered a lousy weapon.
As for myself, 92F has never missed a beat. It shoots much better than me.
