i have a pro-carry2 that i wasnt too happy with at first. it had problems returning to full battery. it is a super tight pistol, absolutely no rattle from the frame and slide.

I've had the same problem with my pro carry II. I shot 200 rounds and sent it back. It came back with a dummy scratch and a gun vice mark, I wasn't to happy about that. Over the weekend I shot rounds 400-500 and still had FTRTB issues. If it is not 100% after the first 1,000 rounds I'll get rid of it. I hope what you say is true they do get worked in. The tollerances are so tight. It's one thing I love about the gun.

hey glockman, ya i hope yours gets worked in too.

another point that might be worth mentioning,,,

about the same time i got to that magic point of 200-300 rounds where mine really started getting better i replaced the recoil and firing pin springs with wolff extra power units, and switched from breakfree with teflon to plain old mobil1 10w-30.

Kimber Pro Raptor II (8-round magazine capacity), made in the Kimber Custom Shop and reasonably priced compared to many custom .45's:

I have a Eclipse came out of the box rusted under grips. Wow!! never got a Colt pre rusted. My DW isn't rusted Just the Kimber. That alone along with the terrible fireingpin gripsafety set up That I can feel every time I depress the Gripsafety . Has turned me off and gun lays in safe. Haven't been able to get zip on trade. No one in my area wants Kimber.
