Well I was going to get the Comp Tac but I always prefer local pickup over mail order. While at Sportsman's I thought I would check out what they had in stock and I found a Filson dual layered bridle leather belt for 44 bucks. I like it very much it is definetly stronger than a single layered belt. Only time will tell how it holds up.

$5 Closeout at LAPoliceGear

Available in 2 shades of brown, and with or without stitching.

I bought 2, and added a %20 promo code. For less than $10 shipped I am the owner of 2 new leather 5.11 tactical leather dress belts.

I like them, especially at $4.99!

I'm 5'10", 170lbs with no butt to speak of, so if I carry IWB with a soft, standard belt...well my 1911 or even my g19 goes from IWB to ankle carry quickly.

These 5.11 tactical belts don't look tactical, which I love. I wish it didn't come with the tiny "5.11" logo. They work well for me in blue jeans, khakis or cargo shorts...pretty much anything short of a suit/tie that requires narrower belts. The belt holds up my 1911 or my glock really, really well without being super tight. Very comfortable once broken in. I don't foresee these wearing out anytime soon.

They also have a hidden handcuff key holder around the back side...not really sure what to put there...

FYI, if you get a really stiff belt that is just a hare too tight, I hung mine on a nail with a 25 lb barbell weight attached to the other side for a week. That seemed to do the trick for me.

Take a look a the Galco "Special Agent" belt. Not only does it work well as a gun belt, but I was surprised to learn that it's actually the most comfortable belt I own, regardless of purpose.

I bought a comp-tac, so it is the only one I can comment on.

It is a great looking belt and well made, has really held up over the past year, I believe the Kydex really helps to when carrying concealed.

I would recommend it based on my own experience. In a month or so I will end up buying another comp-tac belt, solely based on my previous experience with their company.
I also own a minotaur holster.
