I've heard of Bold, and I've looking at the Timney Sportsman, but I recently came across a Huber Match. They have a new 2 stage model.

Any opinions? I'm building a field gun, scout rifle style. I plan to keep my mauser wing safety, so I only need the trigger.

Buy the Bold and never look back. The Huber is a PITA to adjust and overpriced to boot; the Bold comes adjusted from the factory with an eminently serviceable 3-pound pull. I have adjusted them to a hair below 2 pounds without problems.

i have an m48 yugo mauser,it was a good shooter. i put the bold trigger in it and it is now an excellent shooter.had to remove a little wood with a dremel tool. it took about 45 min to finish. most of the time was disassembly and assembly

I installed a Bold trigger on a sporterized M38 Swedish Mauser that I purchased at a local shop. Best trigger on the market for that application as far as I am concerned.

mark up another promo for the Bold.

put it on a sporter Brno and man...lemme tell you...

mine is sweet as sugar. :)

i've got bold & timneys on a few of my rifles. like them both about the same. if you've got some money to spend go with a kepplinger or recknagel

i've got a bold on a sported 98/22 and like it well enough. and for the money, you probably can't do any better.
