Which of these two .22's would you buy?

1. Bersa Thunder 22....alloy frame and slide. Comes with one mag. NEW $259

2. Bersa Model 23 (older Bersa .22): All steel...frame and slide. Slightly heavier. Wood grips. Comes with two mags. 90% condition. USED $230

Which one would you choose and why?

I prefer all steel guns over alloy/steel so I guess I'd go w/ the 23 in this case -- plus I would guess that all steel 22 would be a very very mild shooter.

+1 on the steel. More durable, weight adds to stability. I've seen pics of alloy slides cracking.

If you get one, post pics please. A little range report would be nice, too. I've never heard anything on a Bersa 22 before...

Personally, I'd get a Ruger over either of these.

I'd get the Thunder .22. I bought Firestorm .22 with the 6 inch barrel. Fun little pistol.
