Alrighty fellers,
Quite frankly, I don't really need anything, I just have some money burning a hole in mah pocket. Now I already have 3 .357s (GP100 4", S&W 65KS, and S&W 66 3") and two .22 pistols (Ruger 6 7/8" "Slabside" target, and a Browning Buckmark target) but I find myself "drawn" to 'em like a moth to the flame. So which would you get? The Ruger KMK512 (Stainless MkII with 5.5" Bull Barrel for $329) or the SP101 (2 3/4") for $339?

Decisions decisions.....

Well, you already have such similar guns... But if it were up to me, I'd rather have the MkII.

Every check out those SIG TrailSides? Pretty sweet... Might be worth a look.

If you don't need either one then get the .22--you'll shoot it more and have more fun with it.

Yeah,
I looked at the Sig last month (ended up getting a Buckmark target instead....what a shooter!) and even though I hear they're great shooters, I just can't get past the fact it has a plastic magazine. Call me traditional, but I don't like plastic on my guns (heck, I traded my Glock 19 for a Browning Hi Power...smartest trade I ever made). Anyhoo, so far it looks like I'll prolly go with the .22. If anything for the fact that I've heard Ruger will be discontinuing the MkII to go to the MkIII. I won't get a MkIII. I will not buy a handgun with an internal "lawyer lock" (not to mention I think the loaded chamber indicator is ugly . :barf: )

Keep it comin fellers

I also went with the MkII...they are a real blast to shoot. We (wife & I) target shoot off of our back deck with various flavors of pistols & revolvers but always have the MkII right there every time.

I might want to get another while they are still available myself!!

:D :D

I'd go with the Ruger MKII of the two you mentioned,You can do allot more shooting for your money. You already have the 357's covered. You can never have to many 22's.You might consider a Ruger Single Six.That way you can shoot the 22 LR's and the 22 mags out of the same gun.The Single Sixes are quite a gun for the money.
