Which optic

I was all set to purchase a M&P CORE 9mm w/5 inch barrel because the slide is MOS ready and I have a Burris Fastfire III. Then I looked at the specifications which listed the optics that the slide is milled for and the one listed are: Trijicon RMR, Leupold Delta Point, Jpoint, Doctor, C-More STS, Insight MRDS. So does that mean my FF III will not work with this pistol or I will have to have additional work done to the slide? I checked the Glock 34 and it says pretty much the same thing.

Apparently yes see video,although it wont co-witness,but then again neither does my Delta point pro on my core.

I would suggest you ask S&W and get accurate information before you buy. I'm guessing they set it up for the most popular sights used in competition.

I'm with the "ask S&W" statement but I'll throw this in. I purchased a Doctor reflex sight base for a 1911 with out doing any research thinking a Burris Fastfire would fit. It will not. The Burris is slightly larger and won't fit the pins on the Doctor base.
