Which S & W would be the same size as a Taurus 605

Hello,

I am looking to compare a 605 SS Taurus (2-1/4 barrel) with a J frame Smith. Does anyone know which model Smith would be the same in size? Thanks for everyone's time.

Basically, any J frame S&W will be similar in size to the small-frame Taurus models such as the 605. The main differences will be weight (i.e. material used - steel, aluminum, titanium, scandium, whatever), bulk (the Taurus typically has a thicker and heavier barrel shroud than the S&W's), and grips (the S&W factory grips are thinner and smaller than the Tauri).

I used the Smith M60 as the basis for the holster search for my M605.
It fits perfectly!!
