Which scope?

What scope do you prefer for your air rifle? I've tried a few so far. The Center Point scope that tends to come with a lot of the guns as a packages is about what you'd expect. Useable...but not great.

I bought a Leapers scope that I'm super happy with. It's a 4-16 AO, great scope for the money.

I also bought a Winchester 3-9 AO type scope for about $30 and it's OK...but again not great. I wasn't expecting "great" for $30...it's just all they had on the shelf when I went to pick up some gear.

How much to you think you have to spend to get a good, variable power scope with an adjustable objective, and good clear glass? What are your favorites?

I don't know how much you're willing to spend but I have a Burris 3x9 AO airgun/rimfire model that beats any of the others I've tried. Probably around $300 now.

Depends.....If it is a springer of any kind then you are correct, there are even "magnum" rated air gun scopes for some of the more powerful spring air guns....and spring air guns include gas ram air guns.

However if your gun is a PCP, or MSP, then hang whatever you want on there it will not hurt it.
