Which scopemount?

Hi guys, I am considering the following scope mounts.

Burris AR-P.E.P.R. 1-Piece Extended Scope Mount


AR-Stoner Gen 2 Extended 1-Piece Cantilever Scope Mount



Aero precision Ultralight 1" Scope Mount, SPR - Anodized Black



Which would you go for and why?

I have the pepr mount and it works great. The AR Stoner works well too. I have no experience with the Aero Precision. Some consider the Burris to be too heavy, but it has never bothered me. I believe they work equally well. I have the PEPR QD for the fact that at the time I got 70% of MSRP on Burris products.

The Areo Prec. is a lot lighter than the PEPR . The Stoner is stout and cheap . The Areo is about the same as the PEPR and cheaper than LaRue ect.
and precision . Having a few PEPRs and one Aero and my son a Stoner, I would say Areo , unless you want to mount something on top of your scope

I own AR scope mounts from Warne, Larue, Nikon, Leupold, Burris, and Aero. I wouldn't buy the Leupold again, and I wouldn't accept a Nikon if you gave it to me for free.

Aero, Warne, LaRue, and Burris are the 4 which get my money. The Burris PEPR is heavy, especially the QD version.

I saw the ar stoner mount at the range last weekend. It's bigger than I expected. Not as huge as the Burris mount, but a lot bigger than the aero.

The Aero for the light weight or the Stoner for common tool removal from the gun. The Aero comes with a little Torx wrench that you can stuff into a pistol grip compartment for later use, but if you lose it you may be wishing for the simple nut clamping design of the Stoner (or others).

On that topic, if you pick the Aero to save weight I'd pick a lightweight scope as well. You might as well have an overall lightweight optics package if you're leaning that way.

I do not have a Aero but I do have different ones all work good for me except the Leupold it has a built in raise so you can shoot 1000 yards that is 500 more than I want to shoot when I bought it I did not know that it had the built in raise
