I voted for the BHP, even before I saw the picture. I was going to ask how old it was, since the BHP is the oldest of the models you mentioned (I know, 1911's have been around longer, but not the Gold Cup). That BHP is a Mark III, probably newer than 1990-95.

I would choose them in the order you have them listed in the poll.......

1. Colt 1911 Gold Cup with lots of mods
2. Browning High Power
3. S&W 686 stainless with four inch barrel
4. Ruger Redhawk in 44 Mag with six inch barrel

That's a tough choice. I absolutely love 1911's, but the Redhawk as stated above is the most versatile of the bunch.

If it were me. It would be the Colt Gold Cup. Reason being, the two revolvers are nothing really special. The Browning Hi Power, I own one. Would be my second choice. The Gold Cup is hard to find, the Hi Power is not in production anymore. If taken care of, these two will only increase in value.

Tough call… it’d depend on what you already had in your collection. But for me it’d be a toss up between the 1911 and BHP.

Distant third would be the 686, but only because I like autos a little more and I have a 4” 357 revolver already

I would choose the Redhawk---had one just like it in blue. It shot great with/without the scope.
The Gold Cup---never cared for it. Would prefer a Combat Commander.
The High-Power---Had 2 of them---both went bye-bye---wouldn't want another.
The 686---Had a 3in---went bye-bye---not as good as my Mod 28.

When I first looked at the list I thought “I would like the 686”.
Then I thought “You can’t swing a dead car and not hit a 1911, 686’s are plentiful, I don’t care for BHPs but I haven’t seen a Redhawk in a long time and I want one.”
So, I selfishly selected the Redhawk. :D

After seeing the photo @dh1633pm posted above I would definitely jump on the Redhawk.

From your Father? Easy, which one has the most sentimental value?

You and the others have said this are what I have already chosen. Hence the four choices. Those all have that value. He gave me choice of 13. So I thought if I couldn’t make up my mind between equals, than I would do random. Hence the post.
