Ok, I have recently needed to come up with a little extra cash. After deciding that the only thing I own that's worth any amount of money, I decided to sell a couple guns. One of them is a for sure sell, as I never use it, and it could be easily replaced.

Of the other choices, it's down between two. Both are recent purchases (within the last 5 years) and could fetch some cash to help out.

Option 1: Remington Model 7 in .260. Synthetic stock with stainless bbl and 3-10x40 silver Weaver scope. I deer hunt with this gun a lot. It's light and easy to carry.

Option 2: Tikka T3 Lite in .243. Also synthetic stock with stainless bbl. This one has a Nikon 4-12x40 scope. I also deer hunt with it, but not as much as the Model 7.

The other one that will definitely go is a Savage M110 in 30-06. It doesn't get any use and collects dust all year long except for the occasional range trip to blow the dust off it.

I hate to sell out, but it looks like there's no choice. Of the two options, which would you sell?

Sorry to hear of your troubles.

Of those two, I'd sell the Remmy.
It's more easily replaced than the Tikka, and the Weaver scope is not as much money as the Nikon. You never get good trade value on glass.

Sounds like you prefer shooting the Rem, so one vote for that to keep.
Which scope do you like better, if the Nikon then put that on the Remington.

Or let me ask this:
If you had to sell all of them which would you try to replace later on? Keep that one.

Remington is making the M7 harder to replace. I'd keep that, and I should have bought that model a while back.

An aftermarket safety, and that's a GREAT, no, near-perfect, little hunting rifle, in a superior caliber.

Unless you're selling outright I'd keep the scopes from whatever rifles you are selling. You get almost nothing for them in a trade.

I'd keep whichever you like and use the most.

+1.....no scope on the trade.
balance future pleasure vrs currant needs.....best anyone can do gl
