Ok, I have recently needed to come up with a little extra cash. After deciding that the only thing I own that's worth any amount of money, I decided to sell a couple guns. One of them is a for sure sell, as I never use it, and it could be easily replaced.
Of the other choices, it's down between two. Both are recent purchases (within the last 5 years) and could fetch some cash to help out.
Option 1: Remington Model 7 in .260. Synthetic stock with stainless bbl and 3-10x40 silver Weaver scope. I deer hunt with this gun a lot. It's light and easy to carry.
Option 2: Tikka T3 Lite in .243. Also synthetic stock with stainless bbl. This one has a Nikon 4-12x40 scope. I also deer hunt with it, but not as much as the Model 7.
The other one that will definitely go is a Savage M110 in 30-06. It doesn't get any use and collects dust all year long except for the occasional range trip to blow the dust off it.
I hate to sell out, but it looks like there's no choice. Of the two options, which would you sell?
