Which vendors would you buy from again?

I mean, I also have a shotshell reloader so I figured I'd just make some play rounds and give it a go... but I ordered a pound of W231 and got a pound of super handicap. The picture was W231. The description was W231. The title was W231. But the SKU and barcode said super handicap, so that's what I got. The lady in customer service apologized a lot but said unfortunately there was nothing they could do as they can't take returns on powder regardless of state.
Then Cabalas should shipped you a pound of W231 on their dime. It was their error.

I've bought from brownells, sages, midsouth, midway, White label lube during the last year. I've no complaints with any of them.

Midway, Brownell's, Ballistic Products, Powder Valley, Buffalo Arms, Bruno's(when in stock).
It is a market driven economy isn't it?
Enough grousing about prices.

I have never had a bad experience with Midway or Brownells. I have got a lot of stuff from Track of The Wolf and Buffalo Arms. I will extend a courtesy to Optics Planet, they finally updated me regarding an order I had placed last October, that could not tell me when Winchester wads would be back in stock. I really have no favorites, just go where the stuff is. I am spending it now so the kids don't have squabble over my carcass.

Midway is my go-to, Brownells, NE Reloading, ARMorALLY, EABCO, Everglades, Penn Bullets current fav for cast. Just made my first order from Natchez.

My LGS is no longer there . . . :(

Rmr, xtreme bullets and mbc of course. I guess unlike others midway is my goto. I wait for free ship or usually have enough it is irrelevant. The most important to me though unlike others who charge your card and ship 8 to 12 weeks later midway if in stock you order at 8 am, before noon you get shipping confirmation and it is setting at my door in 3 days.

Man I don't get all the love for Midway in this thread. I mean I think they are a good company and they've done a lot for the shooting sports over the decades but, BUT.....

They're overcharging for powders and primers these days ... 10% more than Midsouth and Powder Valley for instance, often more.

They continue to give round-up donations to the NRA when 1000s of us have practically begged them to redirect those funds to the GOA.

They're notification feature is worthless. Total hit or miss. It's almost like a bait and switch game with them at times.

I dunno ... me personally, I would not have Midway in my Top 5 go-to anymore these days.

1 - Powder Valley
2 - Midsouth (but you had better be willing to be very patient)
3 - RMR
4 - Brownells
5 - Graf's
6 - Natchez
7 - Sage's

Used to do a lot of business with Widener's but not anymore really.

I do as much local business as possible with Sportsman's Warehouse and Palmetto State Armory.

American Reloading. They consistently had fair prices and offered discount codes. Their powders are still reasonably priced.

I didn't think Midway's prices were that out of line with Midsouth and Powder Valley. I will shop at most of the same ones as before the craziness. My only complaint with Cabela's, Sportsman and other big box stores is the way they place out there inventory. Not all of us can camp out at the entrance and be the first in when they open. I understand business is business and they'll sell out regardless. But it would be nice if they stager putting out inventory throughout the day.

have not bought a thing from Midway after they showed their truer colors - when they started charging $1200 for 1,000 IMI 5.56. LGS is were my $$$ goes to

Interesting observations and very valid. I have never gotten a notification from them that good were available. Maybe they are living off of their old reputation. I read that Larry is an employee now.

My understanding of powders and primers from Midway. They act as an agent site, so to speak. I have not watched it all this time around. But last panic, when Powder Valley got some inventory in, it seemed the same showed up on Midway. I don't think Midway actually ships powders or primers. But I could be wrong this time. Things change over time.

Midway and Brownell's have come though for me when buying gun related stuff.

Powder Valley had the powder I needed.

Eggleston and Extreme bullets shipped right away.

Brazos took a little while to produce the bullets, then they shipped them quickly.

Other than that I haven't ordered a whole lot this year.

Stay safe.

My only complaint with Cabela's, Sportsman and other big box stores is the way they place out there inventory.

I won't say it's a complaint, but their website is practically useless now. My "local" store is 2 hours away. I can check inventory and 99% of the time is wrong. I have even called the store and been lied to. And now everything says "unavailable" under ship to store or ship to home.

I've ordered from 50 online places id bet. All have been fine. Cdnn, psa, lax, midway, Natchez, brownells, numrich, sportsman's guide, recoilgunworks.com, magshack, tombstone..... I can't remember all of them. There is no "local" store so it's always been drive 2 hours or order online Well not always... it used to be drive 2 hours or send in an order and wait 4-6 weeks.....

Last couple weeks I've ordered from psa, magshack, and cdnn. All had same day shipping

I’m going LingCod fish and Gun shopping! Deals are coming. People can’t buy Ammo (cheap) or components. They won’t be buying guns! DEALS COMING! SAVE YOUR$$$ for deals

Midway
Midsouth
Missouri Bullets
Natchez
Accuratemolds.com
Annealeez
Brownells

Midway is my first source, but I like to support Brownell's as well because they carry a FULL line of parts, not just the high margin items.
Cabela's and Bass Pro are at the bottom of my list because they are rapidly becoming a glamping/fashion clothing store. I expect in 5 years or less they'll pull a Dick's Sporting Goods and get out of guns altogether.

I remember the late 2000's crunch when CTD in Fort Worth pulled items off the shelf, held them in reserve, and put out a small amount at a time at 2-3x prices

For most of.... even that was ok. They are free to charge whatever. What made many of us never consider ctd again was that several People had orders that were bought and paid for, but ctd canceled the orders as out of stock. and relisted them at the higher price the same days in stock.

That's wrong

Ill add more to my list.
