I have been and/or know others that have been, however, most the injuries I've seen were minor and handled with eye wash (actual or improvised), and none happened at a range.
I've had a lot of close calls, but not on a range.
I've known a handful of folks that had a glass eye, I wouldn't have known if they didn't mention it, and I'm not in the habit of asking folks how they lost body parts.
My uncle's (then) father in law took his glass eye out in front of my (then) stepson, who was five at the time. Laughing hysterically is counter-productive when trying to calm a child down.
