Don't think I'll say much here except

Hi! and I think I recall several similar threads when I joined up (in the archives now). Oh, and I'm just barely old enough to remember seeing Howdy Doody live.

If ya wanna know more, look up my stuff or watch me baring my soul, prudently or not, on that other thread there. Dang!

24 year old full time college student and full time housewares lead for Linens N Things. I certainly dont have unlimited income, but I do keep my expenses at a minimium where I can(Food, truck, insurance, school, etc). I also dont smoke or drink and pack my lunches to work. I try to live frugally so I can buy toys after my bills are paid. I graduate next december(two semesters left ! WHOO WHOO) with a IT computer security degree from George Mason University. I forsee my income going up a lot after that which will hopefully mean a house and lots of new toys.

36yo ex-Navy network engineer, engaged, teenaged stepdaughter, saving up to buy a house so going easy on the gun purchases, only three last year (and all three were for the fiance/stepdaughter).

I guess a update is in order. I will soon be 39, altough it fills like I am in my 50's. Still have the wonderful wife that doesn't ask one question when I come dragging in another gun or gun safe #3. Took the chief's position at the squad for a 5th year, what was I thinking. Ever since the AWB sunseted I have been purchasing EBR like we are going to be invaded any day. Live less than a mile from my aging mother so I have two houses to take care of. Really looking forward to a vacation, I have heard of these things, but haven't experienced one that wasn't a meeting for conference in 4 years.

47. 48 in 3 weeks! Geez! Where's the last 15 years get to?
Regional IT Coordinator for the State of Georgia, part-time tennis coach.
Divorced, 3 kids, (1 daughter, 2 sons.) The boys still live with their mother, daughter all grown up.
Aside from Child support and the extras I send the kids, I have few expenses: rent, my Jag, my gun habbit, and the occasional new pair of tennis shoes.

I am 34, married, one son who is almost 5 years old.

I am a software development manager by day, and do some consulting work on the side to support my crack-like gun habit.

My wife will let me buy as many guns as I want as long I spend the same amount on her when I buy it.

The SuperTac purchase was especially painful.

Well, this thread started before I did, but since it's revived...

I'm 40, married 4 1/2 years, one 18 day old daughter who's the light of my life, of course. I'm the Director of Academic Technology Services at Arkansas Northeastern College, which sounds much more impressive than it really is. Colleges like to give impressive titles in lieu of pay. :(

I didn't start collecting until Nov 03, started with 5 guns and now have 13, so I'm doing about a gun every two months. The hardest part is getting to the range to practice with the bunch I have.

well...

i'm 30, married, have a 12 yo step-daughter and a son on the way in june. I am an Avionics Technition in the Navy. i have a pretty tight gun budget (and the baby will only tighten it :)) but the wife is very cool and understanding and has let me get back into guns/shooting by letting me buy 5 guns in the last year and a half, and i inherited 2 that were her father's so i certainly cant complain. if it wasnt for her regulating my gun purchases, i'd be starving, homeless, and sleeping at the range. (but i'd have a TON of guns1) :) God bless her for saving me from myself sometimes. :)

I'm the over-educated simple (Civil) service clerk who told my Alma Mater that I died a couple of years after I graduated. It worked. They don't send me junk mail anymore. :p

25 year old private investigator. I only have 2 guns. I don't have unlimited means to buy guns but then again, I don't really have the desire to buy too many. For now, 2 is enough.

I'm single, not even a GF, no kids, very little expenses. I'm really saving up for one of those new Corvette's.

21, Single (sort of... long story).

I'm a college student studying classical history, and aiming for a master's degree so i can teach. I have two jobs, I work as a computer consultant and a tobacconist--which one i consider to be the primary depends on how business is going that month.

Mostly, I sit around with a variety of interesting people, smoke cigars, drink scotch, and talk politics.

Answers to questions.

  • 1) Old enough to knoW better, yet, young enough to not give a damn!!

    2) one that pays the bills with a little left over for my hobby!!!
Let's say that I'm not in the two guns per month club!!

    3) I have a very loving wife that is also into guns!! :D :D

I'm a 22 year old male. Single, no GF. I work at a warehouse. As far as gun money goes i usually just buy a gun when I get extra money. (tax returns, gifts, etc.)

I'm 33. I work doing a security related job for a non-profit organization and I love guns. They are the ultimate power that can be your ultimate savior. I'm single and loving it because I know that I wouldn't be able to buy all the toys right now if I was married. I bought three .50 BMG rifles this year on principle alone. If you guessed I'm from California you guessed right.

30, white collar sole provider, married, 2 kids. Recently stopped buying guns in favor of buying rent houses. Hopefully the rent houses will provide the means to catch up on lost gun-buying time.
