I know that some of you do....I have found myself wandering over to gun stores when I am feeling down in the dumps...

Even if I dont buy an actual gun...Buying something gun related sure cheers me up. Last week i bought some snap caps that I had been meaning to get for a while.

The week before that, it was a cheapo cordura holster that I ended up really liking.

A month ago, it was a new 9mm...just because...hey, it was cheap!!

Im not sure if this is a good thing or not...It is beginning to feel more like an addiction...However, I havent found how this addiction will give me cancer, so I am all for it.:D

my fiance thinks I am crazy...She is right...considering I have no source of income...But what the hey...School loans arent JUST for school ....ARE THEY??

Toys are supposed to cheer you up and getting new ones does also.

I'm cheerful now because this weekend a friend of mine sold me 2 great S&W revolvers at very good prices. One was a superb 4" 686 and the other was a 2" Chief Special Model 60 with the original walnut grips.

:)

Can't afford to buy one everytime I get depressed. Doesn't happen often but I still don't have the casho most of the time. But browsing a gun shop and holding their Socom for the Nth time is cheering. It's also nice to shoot watermelons. Darn dirty melons...

Sometimes I buy a gun (or something gun or knife related) to cheer me up but even if I am not depressed, getting a new gun will make me happy.:D

Not always a weapon, but I have bought accessories sometimes when I found my self in that deep blue funky mode....

Imagine how depressing it must be to live in England or California.

Handguns are nice to get you feeling better, but not the only thing. Some years back I was feeling down, real bad - so I went to my car dealer and bought me a new Lincoln... couple of days later I bought me a new S&W. I felt a lot better.

Sounds like materialism...
"Money can't buy happines, only the temporary illusion of happiness." It's the same with smoking, drinking, and caffeine.

Never said I disagree though. :D :neener:

i cheerfully enter a gunstore with great expectations. take a close look at the availables. even ask about things that may be lost to pawn. am more than cheerful when i leave with a "find".

I can't say that I buy one to cheer myself up but I am always more cheerful than I previously was when I do get one.

I was really cheerful yesterday when the BBT dropped off two rifles for me :D .
