The title says it all. Also, what is the standard magazine capacity? How difficult are they to shoot well?

I had mine on my hip only yesterday.
Mine has been converted to fire .40S&W.
The mag capacity is 10 rounds, although, it will accept the standard cap G20 mags!!
The G29 shares frame size with the G30.
They shoot very well!! I have no problems with mine.

I carry my G29 in a Blade-Tech IWB. It is a beefy little brick, however, so you will need to adjust your wardrobe accordingly. The thickness does allow the recoil to be spread over a larger surface so accuracy is excellent along with quick follow-up shots.

I put Pearce grip extenders on all my G29 mags. I find that being able to use your pinky on the grip affords much better control. They don't impact concealability.
