All of those pictured, so far, look great!

Aren't you all glad I asked? :)

I only own one BHP, a Standard .40.

I always thought a fondness for the HP was required?

Sorry for such a poor picture but it's the only picture I happen to have around of her.

I'm giving serious thought to pulling the trigger on one or two of those Argentinan Hi-Power clones at J&G. But every time I start ordering one I remember that the cheapest FFL I know if is $50 and that means I'll be about $20 short of my budget!

You guys with 2+ Hi-Powers are making me real jealous right now.

I've never owned or even fired a hi-power, but I've held quite a few. I've always been a fan of the looks and design of the hi-power. I hope to own one someday. Great pics everyone!

Jungle,

What's with the glass cockpit photo? Is that a sim?

Nice Hi Powers. I don't have a good shot of my 9MM MK III silver chrome model.

I love the BHP! I have four of them. Two blued standards in 9mm, one practical in 40S&W, and one 9mm with the black epoxy finish. What a great pistol! Sorry, I don't have any pics to share. :uhoh:

Chimbarazo, your second pistol pic is pretty much exactly as I want my Hi Power to look. Thanks for posting it! :)

I carry one on a regular basis. It's one of the transitional guns before the MkIII. It's got the extended ambidextrous safety, but came with the old, crappy sights. I replaced the rear sight with a Pachmayr adjustable and paint the front white with a paint marker.

Pardon the interruption, but I think I found the right audience here...

I am intrigued by the BHP, but I practically get hammer bite just by picking the pistol up. ;) So...how rare are beavertail tanged models? And by "rare" I mean both how hard to find, and how expensive.

Thanks everyone!

I do not have any hammer bit issues on my spur hammered MK III, but you can always "bob" the hammer like Stephen Camp does or just install a Commander style hammer. No beavertails necessary.
