Who is in the armed forces?

Just wondering how many people are in the armed forces! Or, were in the forces, or are not in the...you get it by now.

Not the US armed forces, but certainly a veteran of another service.

Not in the armed forces yet. Will hop into the Army at the end of this year if everything goes as planned

20 years and still going. Active duty Air Force.

U.S. Navy Submarine Service, 1982-1988.

19 years, 5 months.

Active duty USAF. Will probably give the Federal Government another 10-20 years after next February, too.

I remembered coast guard...didnt remember reserve and air guard though...i just figured it could go under "Others" cause i knew there were a lot of services.

26th Marine Expeditionary Unit for most of that time.

Served with the 1/325 Airborne Infantry, MOS 11B (light weapons infantry) in the early 80's. Served to defend the Italian communists from the Russian communists. .

Also served 4 years in the National Guard while I was in college. Total time was 26 something years.

I now work for a defense contractor.
