I know Dan Wesson made a factory .460 Rowland at one time, but don't know if they still do. Is this a conversion made gun caliber now like a .500 Linebaugh or do some come from the factory shooting the .460?
I see where Clark Custom will make your S&W 625 in to a .460 Rowland, if you send in the cylinder, and still be able to shoot the 45acp. They also make .460 conversions for a 1911.
Thanks for the responses.

I have only ever heard of .460 Rowland being shot in 1911's. News to me that they can do it with a wheelgun. No reason not to. Just didn't occur to me.

I've heard of them being converted in many wheelguns but never have seen a factory one.

If you know any tricks to get my 1911 to feed properly let me know. The compensator does TOO good of a job releasing pressure.

Here is mine...

Big boomer,

My understanding is that Clark now ships the kit with two recoil springs, and says that the lighter of the two may be needed on some stainless guns for them to be reliable. - Josh M.
