I don't read the lawyer junk. I want to be rid of those oversize plastic cases . Raised the price of pistol and after while their no place to put them . I started tossing them in garbage I want the card board box back . One reason for reduction in my buying last couple years . Unneeded additional junk.

You guys are a bunch of woosies! REAL men never read the owners (Instruction) manuals until AFTER they can't get it back together! JUST KIDDING! I read the owner's manuals on everything that coast more than a few hundred dollars unless it is my third or fourth purchase of the same thing. The exception being the Chinese made patio furniture my wife bought n Amazon. I definitely read every firearms owner's manual before shooting or disassembling. (or sometimes after)

Interesting you should ask that question.

I was just on a different site sponsored by a gun manufacturer and today alone two people posted asking how they should clean and lubricate their guns. The manufacturer devotes three clearly marked pages in the owner's manual to the subject, but either these two had not read their owner's manual or they had read it and concluded there must be more to it than what the manufacturer had recommended.

Skim if it's familiar to another gun I know, like Glocks. I read in great detail, every time I want to tear down and reassemble my Ruger Mark III.

Romeo Tango Foxtrot Mike. Always.

I also read my vehicle manuals, 'cause it's those little pesky things like, you know, scheduled maintenance gates that you don't want to miss, even though you know everything about cars ...
