Global warming is BS just like the coming ice age of 70's that gave birth to the catalytic converters...Its just a money maker.

The question of Dems of Repubs getting our guns first is a thought provoking question..kinda makes me wonder about the too good to be true DC gun ban reversal that leads to what Supreme Court might do in the Parker case. 1 step forward leads to 10 steps back.
 
Thats petty nonsense. It really is. Take a look at science. Or even the visible season changes of the past few years.

It seems like right wingers have a tendency to be as biased on wanting to believe that global warming is fake as anti-gun activists want to believe that they are right.
 
It's going to be none of those groups. America is slowly becoming like any of the so called "Great Empires" from history. We are going to destroy ourselves from the inside. It will be people turning against people for any small disagreement which will slowly escalate into the counrty into complete chaos. It is going to be everyman for himself at some point. I don't have any children so I'm the end of the line as far as family goes. My guns will probably wind up going to whoever gets to them first after I die.

Global Warming is just as much dog squeeze as gun control, please take a look at the major advocates of this farce. Also here is a news flash: Fox news is just as left wing as the rest of them, just slightly less left. All the news services are in the tank for socialism. And I have looked at the credentials of the "scientist", hogwash. Another goverment funded hobgoblin designed to scare you out of your money and will. The Fear Industrial Complex at it's best. Using all physical evidence to convince the gulible they are deep do do and it is up to the goverment and socialist elites to save us.
If it is colder than you like it is global warming, if it is hotter than you prefer it is global warming, if it is dry it is global warming, if it is too wet it is global warming. It is almost perfect as an engine for steam rolling the rights and life right out of everone. After all, given the premise that they are saving the planet what do individuals matter?
The patriot Act is a real nothing compared to the Kelo ruling. The attack is on, remove heads from behind. Socialist Democrats are the number one threat to everything we hold dear followed by linguini spined republicans. Keep a clear head, think think think!

It should be noted that some of the older scientists that are predicting global warming are some of the same scientists that predicted the coming ice age in the 70's. Global warming activists keep spouting the science is on their side. Take a look at some of the serious science that shows people cannot control global warming. It is scientific and numerically based. It is real science.
 
I look at the world we live in, and it's amazing. It is possible to send 155 million phone calls down a single strand of fiberoptics. We can buy a Corvette that will run 190 and knock down 26 MPG cruising. We have been to the moon, and put 2 satellites on mars at the same time. We have artificial hearts, submarines that can stay down for 3 years, airplanes that carry us around the world in hours in living room comfort. We have wireless technology that lets us do amazing things with laptops, GPS, and all sorts of trickery. This post could be coming to you from any point in the entire world. All brought to us courtesy of the same scientific community that has 95% of it's geniuses warning us. And I should instead go along with my redneck buddies with their heads up their behinds. If it's OK with you guys, I'll play the odds.
 
no one thinks changes in temperature or climate have been made over time before we had the internal combustion engine? after typing this i looked back at the post title, what does global warming have to do with who will get our guns first?

Need I remind you that the educated smart people generally think gun control works? Take a good look Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee. I have a question for the enlighted......how much has the earth warmed up? In degress please. How many of you "really smart" enlightened people know the earth is still in the midst of an ice age?
Bill Gates thought (20 years ago)some pretty silly things about computing power, boy was he ever wrong. Global Warming is worse than BS, it is the new state religion. Sacrifice yourself to your new god but Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee leave the rest of us alone.
I suggest you start reading some science not generated by the state run entertainement buisness.
I have a friend, a doctor in in Africa who runs a clinic, he explained to me why all his patients have AIDS. You see, he gets money to treat patients with AIDS but not patients with TB and Malaria. Get it? Please tell me you get it. Please for the love of god and humanity tell you get it.

It is not necessary for me to jump thru hoops for you, do your own google. The only scientists who still deny have a monetary agenda, like the ones used by the tobacco companies. And there are damn few of them left.

The scientist in favor are the ones in the deep deep deep pockets of goverment and most of those "scientist" aren't even the right kind. How many are actually involved in the study of Meteorology ? How many have advanced degrees in atmospheric sciences? Want a grant? Agree with Global Baloney. If not, starve. Or maybe you'll get fired ( it happens). What would big tabacco gain from not supporting Global Baloney? It is interesting that the tenants of Global Baloney so exactly meets the requirements of communism?

I am not a very smart guy and have no fancy degrees but I am also not the guy telling you the world is coming to an end and all that can fix it is if you become a third world peasant. Give me your money, your car, your house, and your gun. Do what Al Gore says and not as Al Gore does. Gore flunked out of divinity school he was so smart, now the tower of intellect has new crusade.
I am appealing to all of you who might have a few doubts left to read Michael Crichton's "State of Fear". Try a dose of good old healthy skeptism when listening to people telling they know how the world is going to end.
Hal Lidsey has been claiming to know how it's all going to end for 35 years or more. I can't believe people still buy his books. Politicians, schemeing grant gathers and half a$$ holy men and slick combinations of all three. Rubbish. Now go out and buy some guns and ammo!
 
Government, huh? Perhaps you missed the part where our government threw the Kyoto stuff in the trash. And what has aids got to do with global warming? To begin with, we don't pony up enough money for African aids for your doctor buddy to bother lying about it. There are no credible scientists saying we are causing global warming, but that we are tipping that fine balance that lets us live here on this small planet. Think what you like. If warming experts are wrong, we'll be fine. If you're wrong, we're toast. And the next time you "do the research", try to look at it less selectively. It's always going to be wasted on a closed mind.

I asked very pointed questions. Seems to me someone so convinced would have the answers handy. I mean if your willing to give up all to save yourself from a promised boogeyman.
My friend tells lies to save lives, because the gov only funds political deseases. Everyone dying of regular stuff can just drop dead. I have a very opened mind but not so opened my brain fell out. Go in peace, enjoy the fear.

Or, is it the Al Gore crowd who is not interested in providing "factual" data about our relative CO2 emissions and is ignoring the fact that global warming is the result of the sun's energy fluctuation, not greenhouse gas emission. Volcanoes, rotting vegetation and mainly the ocean produce far more greenhouse gas emissions than the industrialized world, by a factor of about 200. Greenhouse gas is not increasing in the Troposphere dramatically, but that doesn't buy votes. 30 years ago, they were panicking that an Ice Age was coming, now, the ice is melting.

Its hard to say if people are going to fight... Down in Louisiana when katrina came through people lost all of their guns even bolt action rifles. That just shows to the gov that people could have their guns taken away easily.. I can only speak for my self when I say I dare them to come and put their hands on my guns

I think a better question for this entire thread, is why are we so pessimistic?

Things are getting better for the first time in hundred years for gun owners. We have been pushing back the anti-gun forces for over ten years now, they are the one's that are getting desperate, the Democrats won more with pro-gun candidates than anti-gun candidates last year. It seems to me any damage to the image of the American gun owner that could have been done by the media has been done already. In other words they came at us full-bore and they are still losing the war of public opinion.

People in general still want access to firearms because of Katrina, 911, crime, etc. The internet is destroying them and their lies, Washington DC and Chicago serve as shining beacons of the results of disarming the citizenry and the people are rejecting it. Sure they can sometimes still make up new terms like "assault rifle" that they apply to souped up 22's (don't flame me but seriously a Remington 870 with slugs will drop an elephant an AR-15 is just going to tickle the beastie) to get momentary traction, but it seldom lasts.

Notice all of sudden they have resorted to calling them fully automatic? Why? Because we educated the public, people want AR-15's and AK's now they see them as self-defense weapons, good for use in SHTF situations, the public doesn't see them as hunting tools (yes I know they can be) they see them as life preservers, as "assault weapons".

In fact, "assault weapons" are currently far more popular than they have ever been, in large part thanks to the 1994 AWB. I am not saying that we should just hang around online and talk about how good we have it, but we shouldn't be despairing it will only serve our enemies.
