10mm cz75's

No there is not, there are 10mm tanfoglio CZ clones and 10mm Dan wesson 1911's however.

The frame on both the cz and BHP would have to be beefed up to accomidate 10mm.

The move up from 9x19 to 10mm Auto isn't just a matter of putting another barrel into the frame. As mentioned, the grip isn't large enough to accept a 1.250" long cartridge and the frame and slide would have to be beefed up as well.

And there has never been a CZ in 10mm. Colt made the Delta Elite, which is basically a 1911, and have again started making them. Tanfoglio makes the Witness in 10mm, and there are a couple of other companies making 10mm 1911's. Those that don't cite battering of the frame as the reason.

Hope this helps.

Fred

The Bren Ten was an unscaled CZ-75, if I'm not mistaken. So that kind of counts.

Don't forget that 10mm beats up guns chambered for it.

The BHP isn't a pistol that reacts well to that kind treatment. Remember FN/Browing had some issues with the first .40 cal BHPs, too. 10mm would only exacerbate those problems.

I built a 41 Action Express on a browning P-35 about 10 years ago, it about beat that slide and frame to pieces in 2 boxes of ammo. It's setting in my safe gathering value along with 200 pieces of virgin brass and 2 boxes once fired.
That wonderful weapon is not ment for that kind of pressure (10mm) even if it fit.

Then it would have the ungainly handling characteristics that are already seen in the 40 caliber HP.

Try the EAA Witness in 10mm. This is more of a CZ in 10mm, but it still feels close to what you might get if a Browning HP had been made in 10mm. I owned a 10mm Witness for a while, but my 1911 Custom in 10mm got carried more, and I sold the Witness. Still, I had no complaints, and felt it was a quality gun.

Man I wish they made the BHP in 10mm. I guess the only option is the EAA Witness. I've heard that they have problems with the slide cracking though. And from what I hear the customer service at EAA isn't all that great either. When I get the money I want to find out for myself though.
