Why no sub-compact XD-357?

What is with springfield armory? I have been waiting and waiting for them to release a 357 sig version of their compact XD line. I'm starting to believe that they will never release one . What is the hold up? I guess they don't trust the cartridge to be a big money maker for them.

Same reason they dont have a 10mm....

Probably because gunstores already can't keep those damn things on the shelves as it is...I've been waiting for a XD45 service for awhile, and every time I go, they are out.

So I guess they are thinking, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". They are making tons of money on the calibers they have.
