Dear fellow gun owner:

Just a reminder that we're having a fund-raising banquet featuring Massad Ayoob as guest speaker on July 18th. For those of you who've never heard Massad speak, you're in for a real treat.

There's a reason why Massad is so often requested as a guest speaker: Massad Ayoob is the sharpest, most incisive and most entertaining speaker in the gun community. Anyone who's heard him at past events will testify to that.

Despite his legendary status in the gun community, he's also a down-to-earth guy. We'll have copies of his most popular book, "In the Gravest Extreme" on hand, and he'll be there to autograph your copies. He'll also be there to field any questions you might have about guns, ammunition, tactics and more.

We're also going to have many, many fine firearms for auction. The guns will not be the sort that you'd find at the mega-mart stores. We want to offer you something a bit more unusual and desireable.

And, of course, we'll be offering you a choice of three delicious entrees. The food at Klemmer's is fantastic.

Seats at the banquet are $75 each. Of that, roughly $21 covers the cost of the meal and the banquet hall. The other $54 will go to the campaigns of real pro-gun candidates in the fall elections. Candidates who support your right to self-defense. Candidates who trust you, not government, to decide when and where you have the right to defend yourself or your family.

In other words, candidates who really and truly believe that you have rights. Let the other candidates talk about supporting the right to own guns for sporting purposes. We're helping out candidates who will actually work to support the true meaning of the Second Amendment and Wisconsin's Right to Keep and Bear Arms amendment.

It's important that we get as many seats as possible reserved well ahead of time, as we want to keep costs low. Every reservation before June 30th saves us money. The more money we save, the more we can contribute to real pro-gun candidates.

When was the last time that you had a great dinner, a great evening with pro-gun friends, enjoyed the wit and wisdom of a legend like Massad Ayoob, had the opportunity to win very desireable firearms, and contribute to candidates who support your right to keep, bear and CARRY arms...all at the same time?

Folks, it just doesn't get any better than this.

Here are the details:

When: Tuesday, July 18th. Cocktails at 5:30 pm, dinner at 7:00 pm, Massad at 8:00 pm

Where: Klemmers Banquet Center, 10401 West Oklahoma Avenue, Milwaukee

To reserve your seat, please mail a check to: WCCM, 3263 South 45th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53219.*

Or, you can reserve your seat online via PayPal by going to http://www.wisconsinconcealedcarry.org/html/04_12_06-ayoob.html and clicking on the "Donate" button near the bottom of the page.

Make no mistake: the anti-gunners are raising money at a rapid pace, knowing that Wisconsin is one of the prime battleground states for gun rights in November. They know that, if we win, Illinois will be the only state that prohibits its citizens from defending themselves.

By our presence at public hearings, committee hearings, rallies, floor votes in the state legislature and other events, we've proved that we outnumber the anti-gunners by at least a 20:1 margin. On some of these occasions, we've outnumbered them by 200:1.

But this is the time where the metal meets the meat. We need to help our friends in their campaigns, and defeat our enemies.

If you're serious about this cause, please make every effort to attend this banquet.

Also, please forward this email to every friend of freedom that you know.

Thanks,
The Wisconsin Concealed Carry Movement

*Please help us abide by state election laws: cash contributions of more than $50 are illegal, so please pay by check or PayPal; every person who contributes to this banquet must do so individually (in other words, you can't give your friend $75 and have him mail in a single check for both of you). If you have any questions about the legality of your contribution, please email me back.

I need to let the banquet hall folks know how many people will be attending by Tuesday the 11th. I can up the count after that, but not by much.

If you're planning to attend, please get your payment in soon.

Thanks.
