Wildey Survivor Parts

Okay, I recently got a good deal on a Wildey Survivor that needed some work. I have so far been able to replace the slide and firing pin to great effect, but the gun still fails to relaibly extract at any gas setting. Upon finally getting the bolt fully disassembled it is clear that many of the parts are heavily worn and could stand replacement. USA Firearms Corp seems to be inactive and nobody answers the phone. Does anyone else here have a lead on Wildey bolt parts?

I have a friend that has a Wildey. I just tested him for any contacts he may have. I'll let you know.

Those dont look like terribly complex parts. If you have a good machinist nearby, he could probably reproduce them from billet stock.

Yeah, I am about to just leave them a message saying "I just want to give you money!" But somehow I expect nobody is checking them. As for machining, a new locking lug probably wouldnt be too hard to make, but the exctactor is a little U shaped piece of spring steel that would be much more difficult... and that is the main part I need replaced.

The extractor looks suspiciously like a Remington 700 extractor. Worth a try?

You're right... it looks almost exactly the same... almost to the point that I wonder if someone else didnt try that swap in the past... may be worth 15 bucks just to see... interesting... thanks!

For the record, after some further research, the Wildey does indeed use a Remington 700 extractor. There are even 2 versions of Wildey bolts that use different 700 extractors based on what the 700 was using at the time.
