Will 22 short cycle a Browning buckmark pistol?
The site saysAnyone got a buckmark and tried the CCI QUIET 22 through it??? Box says designed to function in semi autos.
These cartridges may be used in semi-automatic firearms, however manual cycling of the action may be required.
Do not use in barrels over 24" in length. https://www.cci-ammunition.com/rimfire/cci/quiet-22/6-960.html
The CCI quiet .22 will not cycle any of my model 41 pistols or my ruger mks. I have not yet tried it in my buckmarks. I consider it revolver only ammo. By the way it is not any quieter for me than CCI SV. Any semi auto I have ever seen that cycle shorts was purpose built for them and uses a special magazine.
Astra .22 Short! Neat little pistol! There are some semi-auto rimfire pistols that are/were made to work with shorts. I don't think any of them are still in production, though. Hi-Standard made some target pistols in .22 short, and Beretta made the Minx, which is the .22 short version of the 950 Jetfire.
Astral 22 short! Woah! That's cool.
Can you hit anything with it? Did they offer a longer slide version? (Probably could not because slide weight could be an issue)
