Will a New model sight fit an Old model Ruger?

I might buy an Old Model Super Blackhawk, but it doesnt have a rear sight. Will a new Super BlackHawk sight bought from Ruger, fit? Thanx-

fatelvis--I have an old model Super "B" (3 screw) and a GP100. The rear sights are interchangeable. If you are talking about one of the earlier Ruger "Flatop" .44's I believe they were fitted with a Micro rear sight. Nick

Fec, its not a FlatTop, just an Old model w/the ears on the sides of rear sight. Thanks for the info!
