Do you think we will find Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq?

So far, we have not.

But, is it just a matter of time until we will?

Doesn't matter anymore.
Sorry, don't mean to be rude, but we've done enough talking and convincing and justifying and reporting and markerboarding and...
Nobody who's not already sure of our actions will be swayed by further explainations.
I've spoken with many people on both sides, and came away with the impression that most in the anti movment want to believe that whatever we find will be part of a great, vast, big-time conspiracy to mess up their own little special interest. Sounds kinda short-sighted, but go figure.

Diesle is right, and it depresses the heck out me, 'cause the net effect is that we may never know for sure what he had. If they're not there, we will plant them. The stakes are too high for the folks who initiated this enterprise to be caught out with their ostensible justification shown to be as artificial as it is (IMHO).

We may even find Osama Bin Laden using one of Saddams many bunkers. He has not been heard from since the attack began.

The question isn't whether they'll try to use chemical weapons

the question is whether they'll be able to pull it off. So far we've seen at least three instances where the Iraqis rolled out chemical capable artillery and the allies turned said artillery into scrap metal in a relatively short period of time.

There are, of course, alternatives. One would be suicide attacks with drums of VX or whatever in trucks. Remember these bozos have already shown a propensity for ramming unarmored vehicles into armored vehicles. Forget a couple hundred kilos of C4, how about a couple of 50 gallon drums of VX with small explosive devices intended only to rupture the drums (and perhaps the sides or roof of the truck or delivery van involved)? In a suicide attack scenario, having our guys fire up the vehicle with small arms would simply *increase* the speed of the attack/rate of dispersal.
Another possibility would be for them to use the old German WW I option of simply waiting until the wind is blowing the right way and then start spraying the chemical weapon into the air in the direction of allied troops.

I guess we'll see.

...you know how some cops have a "throw down" gun...
Ummm...what's your point?

You reckon the coalition forces are going to fake a CBR attack to justifiy their invasion of Saddam's regime?

What's your specific source of info for such an outrageous assertion?
