William Henry Knives

Does anyone have any experience with William Henry Knives? Are they any good? Are they worth the price? Where are they made? Does anyone have any other comments on them?

I personally would like one. William Henry knives are works of art, and all are made with a 154CM blade. They look like they are worth the money. I checked one out at the local knife shop that had an ivory handle. Along with being a beautiful knife, it felt very nice, opened smoothly, and was very sharp.

Conclusions: Tactical combat knives? No. Wonderful gentlemen's folders? Yes. If what you want is a gentlemen's knife, I would say definitely yes.

Brilliant knives!! I've handled dozens and found each and every one to be superbly made. I've only got one, but it's one of my favorite pieces and certainly the one I use for "dress" occasions.

They're made CA.

I have one that I purchased in Maine. It's the small one, IIRC it's called the Kestrel (Kestral?). The one I have sits on the mantel as it has a scrimshawed fossilized wooly mammoth ivory scales.

Having said that, I'm SERIOUSLY considering buying "plain jane" version because it's a perfect dress knife. As C-W said: Tactical - no way.
