Does anyone here have a Wilson Combat 1911 of any kind? Have you had any reliability problems?

I'm considering getting a Wilson Combat CQB, but not if it's unreliable.

I have only fired 2 Wilson Combat 1911s. One being a CQB. I never had a hickup with one, and the accuracy was top notch.

Honestly, if yours is unreliable, they will fix it. But I have never heard of a Wilson Combat to be anything but dead-nuts reliable.

I purchased a used CQB. It was like new condition. It is incredibly accurate and reliable. Reliability and top notch customer service is what they are known for. Know that they have a no BS warranty regardless of ownership. If you are interesed, checkout the WC sub forum at 1911forum.com

Wilsons are tested for reliability at the factory with the mags they ship. They test the guns with fully loaded and partially loaded mags. Reliability is not a concern. You may have other concerns, though.

I've got a Wilson Combat CQB Compact that has a few thousand rounds through it with no malfunctions other than those caused by a bad (i.e. needs a new spring) Checkmate mag. The mag was confirmed as the source of the problem in two other pistols. Other than the two stovepipes that I experienced with the bad mag, the gun has run flawlessly and is far more accurate than I am capable of capitalizing on. In the off chance you do run into some kind of problem with a Wilson, they back their product better than anyone out there except perhaps for Springfield who is right there with them on the after sales service end.

I have two, a Sentinel in 9mm and a BWC in 45, they have been flawless! I'm suprised you asked the question... Wilson's have a superb reputation!
