Win. 94AE trapper 30-30

I'm more use to Marlins but just got a 1992 or 93 Win. 94AE Trapper, 30-30, with a receiver positioned cross-bolt manual hammer stop/safety. I'm looking for an owners manual. Where I'm having trouble is in feeding the ammo. I think the magazine spring might be too tight? Not sure. And I do have to fire all the rounds before I can feed more in. Whats up? Scratching my head here!
