And that would just ruin one's day. Remember folks, John Wayne used blanks or an unloaded gun for those stunts.

Yes, John Wayne, 1939, in Stagecoach started the large loop thing.



Not sure one could shoot their armpit spin cocking, that's in the ejection part of the cycle, though not saying its a great idea.

So Deaf, hows that gun working out?
 
The Winchester 94 AE and sister carbines firing pistol rounds had Micro-Groove rifling. The Browning Mdl, 92 .44 also has MG rifling. The throats being over sized need a cast .44 bullet with a diameter of .433. Winchester had their own Micro-Groove rifling to compete with Marlin's high production lower cost rifling. Ranch Dog Molds now defunct made special bullet molds for these carbines. :)
