Winchester 94 rear band replacement

Hi all,
The P.O. of my Win 94 had a sling swivel rear band added to it and I want to undo their redo. I have the correct, non sling band now and I'm wondering ...OK now how do you get this #$%^&** on???

Remove the screw and remove the band. You might need to wiggle it gently.
Removing the magazine tube may be helpful, but has not been necessary on any of the 94s I've played with.

Thanks! I just didin't think it would make it on over the front sight. I would of course remove the "Brush Catcher". I'll give it a go tonight.
